Terms of service
These terms govern your use of the Sartora public website at sartora.app and the Sartora iOS app while in private preview. By using either, you agree to these terms.
1. What Sartora is
Sartora is an AI outfit stylist and virtual try-on for online shoppers. It helps you discover pieces from partner retailers, see them rendered on your private silhouette, save and compare looks, and continue to the original retailer to buy. Sartora is not a retailer. Sartora does not take payment, hold inventory, or operate checkout.
2. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Sartora. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent its safety controls, or violate these terms.
3. The fitting chamber
You may upload one full-length reference photo of yourself, which we use to derive a private silhouette. You represent that you have the right to upload the photo (i.e. it depicts you, or you have permission). Try-on outputs are synthetic previews. They are an approximation of how a piece would drape on your shape and are not a guarantee of fit.
4. Retailer relationships
When you continue from Sartora to a retailer, you transact directly with that retailer under their own terms and policies. Pricing, sizing, returns, and customer service are between you and the retailer. Sartora is not a party to your purchase, does not warrant the goods, and is not liable for retailer conduct.
5. Affiliate relationships
Sartora may earn a commission when you continue to a partner retailer and complete a purchase. The commission is paid by the retailer or their affiliate network and does not change the price you pay. See the affiliate disclosure.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't upload images of other people without their permission.
- Don't upload anything illegal, harmful, or that violates someone else's rights.
- Don't try to extract, reverse-engineer or otherwise recover other users' images, silhouettes or closets.
- Don't use Sartora to harass, defame, or impersonate anyone.
- Don't scrape, automate, or stress the service in ways that affect other users.
7. Content & ownership
You keep ownership of your reference photo and your saved looks. You grant Sartora a limited license to use them solely to operate the service for you (derive your silhouette, render previews, save your closet). We don't claim rights to your content beyond what's needed to do that.
8. Synthetic previews — honest claims
Sartora makes no warranty that a synthetic preview matches the appearance, fit or behaviour of a real garment on a real body. Always check the retailer's size chart and return policy before you buy.
9. Service availability
Sartora is in private preview. Features may change, be removed, or be temporarily unavailable. We don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or pose a safety or legal risk. On termination, we delete your reference photo and derived silhouette in line with our privacy policy.
11. Disclaimers & liability
Sartora is provided "as is" without warranties to the extent allowed by law. To the maximum extent permitted, Sartora is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your transactions with retailers.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; we will tell you about material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
