Synthetic by design · Quiet by default

A fitting room
shouldn't publish you.

Sartora was built around a small, firm idea: a virtual fitting room is a private thing. This page is the longer version of the safety block on the homepage — what we render, what we keep, what we delete, and where checkout lives.

№01 — LikenessNo public customer faces

Synthetic previews,
not photographs.

Try-on outputs are drawn, not captured. Sartora derives a private silhouette from one full-length reference photo and uses it to render a synthetic preview of how a piece would drape on your shape.

No real customer likenesses appear in our marketing, our partner materials, or our App Store screens. The figures you see across this site are abstract silhouette stand-ins, on purpose.

№02 — Image handlingSix promises

What we do
with your image.

The shorter version is in our privacy policy. The shorter still version is here.

  • 01Your reference photo is used to derive a private silhouette. The silhouette stays on your account.
  • 02The reference photo is never published, sold, or used to train third-party models.
  • 03Try-on outputs are kept in your private closet. Nothing public, nothing shared by default.
  • 04You can delete the reference photo at any time, from settings, with one tap. The derived silhouette goes with it.
  • 05Account-wide deletion: email [email protected] and we will action within 30 days.
  • 06We do not sell personal data. Partner retailers receive an anonymous, look-level signal at hand-off only — never your image.
№03 — AI limitsHonest about previews
A · Approximate

Drape, not measurement.

Previews are an approximation of how a piece falls — not a guarantee of inch-by-inch fit.

B · Editorial

Direction, not record.

Use it to decide whether a look is worth pursuing. Treat it as a sketch.

C · Always check sizes

Sizing stays with the retailer.

Always check the retailer's size chart and return policy before you commit.

№04 — CheckoutAlways with the retailer

Checkout stays
with the retailer.

Sartora is not a retailer. We don't take payment, we don't hold inventory, we don't ship anything, and we don't decide your size. When you're ready to buy, we hand you off to the retailer's product page — and pricing, sizing, returns and customer service all live with them.

If a partner retailer offers it, the look you saved travels with the link so you don't have to rebuild your basket.
